Welcome to the home page of the Chesaning Area Conservation Club. This is a site for our members and friends who are interested in preserving all of the wonderful land and resources we have around us. We are located at 13750 W Baldwin Road, Chesaning, Michigan (from the intersection of M-57 & M-52 we are one(1) mile north on M-52 to Baldwin Rd. then approximately ¾ mile west on Baldwin Rd.) Our club was organized in 1945. We have grew since then but our values and hopes are still the same now as they were in 1945. We are made up of many people who appreciate this country and want to conserve it like it was meant to be. We have a series of nature trails that are located on the Club property. We also take part in the Adopt-A-Highway program through the state of Michigan.
We are affiliated with the Michigan United Conservation Clubs. And have been so for many years. As a club we do many things for our local community through out the year. Our goal is to try and make things as good or better than they were when we we came here. And enjoy all of our natural resources while doing so.We have educational classes in hunting both Rifle and Archery for every one and various other things. Our club also takes part in making new legislation or updating old ones so they will be more effective for all hunters, fishermen/women and others who partake in these types of outdoor enjoyment. I give my pledge as an American to save and faithfully to defend from waste the natural resources of my country - its air, soil and minerals, its forests, waters and wildlife.
OUR MISSION
It is the purpose of this organization to further conservation
and to benefit the community.
Towards the goal of conservation, the club will work and
make efforts to increased fish and wildlife in both quality and
numbers, by efforts to eliminate pollution and the creation of
natural habitat compatible with area wildlife. It is also our goal to
sponsor and support all conservation movements.
To further benefit the community, we will make our facilities
and efforts available to such groups whose main goal is to serve
the community.
To accomplish our mission we will welcome members
regardless of national origin, race, or sex.
To further our goal and accomplish our mission we will
endeavor to educate all age groups in the area of conservation
and encourage and assist other educators of conservation.
To donate the use of our range facilities to area law
enforcement agencies.
